SUGAR SPRINGS

Sugar Springs is known a recreational development that celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2002. Some of the land in Sugar Springs is virtually unchanged from 100 years ago. Gentle flowing roads take you into this remarkable recreational development where there’s a gentle balance between natural and manmade. There are about 3,200 total acres of land and about 1,000 acres of water. The two all sports lakes in the complex are Lake Lancelot which is about 250 surface acres of water and lake Lancer which is about 750 acres. In the past ten years, an average of approximately 35 homes per year have been constructed. There are about 1,500 homes and cottages in Sugar Springs. The Property Owners Association owns all amenities. The complex is run by a Board of Directors and managed by a full time General Manager. Is located on the Golf Course in the heart of Sugar Springs and offers easy parking. Enjoy casual dining and fine food at reasonable prices, bring family or friends. Hang out on the covered deck overlooking the 19th hole.

The Sugar Springs POA continues to work with the Gladwin County Walleye Association and the DNR in a cooperative effort to raise fingerlings in the fish pond adjacent to Lake Lancer and stock lakes in the Gladwin County area. Over on half million small walleye are put in lakes in the Gladwin County area each spring as a result of this effort.
